Why another SaaS edge?

Section titled “Why another SaaS edge?”

The existing options are all wrong in different ways:

  • Cloudflare for SaaS — the features you need (Custom Origin SNI, predictable Worker routing) are Enterprise-only. Starts at five figures.
  • Approximated — closed source, per-domain pricing that scales poorly past ~200 customers.
  • Rolling your own — totally viable, but you’ll spend a month on Caddy config, certificate rate limits, and a multi-tenant API.

Hee is the shared middle ground: open source so you can self-host if you grow out of SaaS pricing, priced for real SaaS teams (€19/mo for 25 domains), and built on standards (Let’s Encrypt, Caddy, Postgres — nothing exotic).
